Nagaland Governor P B Acharya said on Monday, time is ripe for finding a permanent solution to the vexed Naga political problem by joining the ongoing dialogue with the Union government by all Naga group leaders concerned.

"It is time to work together for permanent peace in Nagaland and things are taking shape with the signing of the 'Framework Agreement' between the NSCN-IM and the Union government on August 3, last year," the Governor said in a statement here.

"Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is the right time to solve the protracted Naga problem," he said.

"We have to show our capacity and sincerity to convince all group leaders to have dialogue with the Central government for a permanent solution to the problem," he said.

He appealed to all political parties, NGOs, students' organisations and civil societies to take a positive step for meeting different group leaders for a positive dialogue and join the ongoing peace talks for a respectable solution.
