Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that those officials who were not ready or capable of working long hours under the new dispensation should be ready to pack-up, in an explicit warning to the bureaucracy to improve their work culture and shed their apathy.

Addressing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and workers in his home district of Gorakhpur, the chief minister said that the new regime was attuned to working 18-20 hours a day and only those officials who were ready to work diligently without slackness would be able to stay put.
