Union minister and former army chief V K Singh was on Sunday shown black flags here by Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) activists over his controversial remarks on the killing of two Dalit children in Haryana.
Singh, who is in the city for the release of the Hindi version of his autobiography, encountered the protest at the airport.
The CPI-M has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sack Singh from the government.
Singh triggered a huge row, when he used an analogy of stoning a dog while commenting on the burning of two Dalit children in a Haryana village by upper castes.
