Condemning large scale violence by SP Legislator Hazi Irfan Solanki and SSP Yashashavi Yadav against junior doctors in Kanpur Medical college, BJP's Delhi President Dr Harsh Vardhan today demanded the arrest of the SP Legislator.

Vardhan also demanded appropriate action against the Director General of Uttar Pradesh.

Today, a delegation of the doctors of Kanpur Medical College met Vardhan and described the atrocities inflicted by the SP Legislator and Kanpur Police against them.

"They have demanded that criminal cases be filed against SP Legislator, his goondas and SSP Yadav and sent to jail. The doctors, nurses, patients and their attendants who have been assaulted should be compensated and concrete steps should be taken to prevent any such incidents in future," said Vardhan.

Due to the large scale violence by the SP Legislator and the Police, all the doctors of nine medical colleges of UP are on indefinite strike since February 28.

"The entire health services of UP has collapsed due to the strike, but the Chief Minister is not worried about it," said Vardhan.

Vardhan today also flagged off a car rally by the Yuva Morcha with the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Delhi Pradesh, launching 'Modi for PM' campaign with great zeal.

"The youth of the country want a non-Congress government to come to power in India. Narendra Modi should become the Prime Minister of India and fulfill the long awaited aspiration of the youth. Fortunately today 65% of the population of country is youth and they dream of making India leader of the world which can be realized only with the help of BJP," said Vardhan, while addressing the gathering.
