The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has chalked out a mass contact programme beginning on Gandhi Jayanthi till the state formation day on November 1 with its demand of keeping the state united.
The decision to chalk out the action programme was stated to be taken in the extended executive meeting of the party. YSRCP president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, will lead the month-long programme.
"We will begin the programme with a day's fast on October 2 by leaders of our party in 175 Assembly constituencies spread over 13 districts and will culminate with all panchayats holding a meeting and passing a resolution to keep the state united," party leader Konathla Ramakrishna told reporters here on Tuesday.

As part of the programme, on October 7 the party cadre will reach out to leaders of all political parties who did not resign and ask them to mount pressure on their respective leadership to demand for a special Assembly session to pass a resolution against the division of the state.
The party cadre will visit the houses of all Congress and TDP MLAs and request them to demand for a special Assembly session and quit after the resolution is passed.
The programme also includes mandal level Rythu Deeksha on October 10, auto and rickshaw rally on October 17, among others.
