YSR Congress key leader Shobha Nagi Reddy dies

She was 45 and survived by husband, two daughters and a son

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) candidate for the Allagadda Assembly constituency in Kurnool district, Shobha Nagi Reddy, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here on Thursday. She was 45 and survived by husband, two daughters and a son.

Shobha,  who was deputy floor leader of YSRCP in Assembly, sustained serious injuries when the vehicle in which she was traveling met with an accident late Wednesday night.  Her death during the thick of electioneering is being considered as a setback to the YSRCP, particularly in Kurnool  district.
