Mr. Mathur joined M&M from Hindustan Lever, where he was Executive Director -Technology and Specialty Exports, and Member of the Management Committee. His earlier assignments included Executive Chairman/CEO of Hind Lever Chemicals; Executive Director, Chemicals, Agri and Specialties in Hindustan Lever; and Technical Director in Unilever, South Africa. |
He is a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from I.I.T. Kanpur and started his career with Hindustan Lever Ltd as a Management Trainee. He went on to hold senior positions in Operations, Strategic Planning, Global Strategic Alliances, Domestic & International Marketing, Supply Chain & Product / Technology Development. |
He has done the Advanced Management Programme of the Wharton Business School, USA and the Advanced Supply Chain Programme of Princeton University, USA. |
