Apeejay organizes workshop on Data Analysis for Management Research

An initiative to attain excellence in Management Education

Reinstating its commitment to research, Apeejay School of Management, recently, organized a week-long workshop on “Data Analysis for Management Research”.

The workshop, sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), aimed at enabling the participants to define a research problem and develop a suitable methodology for addressing the key issues in research. The participants also learned about the use of various data analysis techniques in research; methodologies to design a study for data collation and ways to address the issues involved in coding, editing, analyzing and interpreting the data collected. The primary focus of the workshop was on survey research with special sessions on Finance, Human Resource, Organization behaviour and Marketing areas.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Alok Saklani, Director, Apeejay School of Management said, “Apeejay School of Management promises best quality education for its students. This skill-oriented workshop was targeted at faculty members who are planning to pursue research in the area of Management. During this workshop, the participants got an opportunity to interact with experienced personalities and leverage on their in-depth knowledge on varied aspects of research.”

Faculty members and researchers from leading institutions, across the country participated in the workshop. Eminent experts in the area from Delhi University, MDI, Apeejay School of Management and University of Jammu addressed the participants and provided them hands-on training on various analytical softwares (SPSS, AMOS and Eviews), commonly used.
