Archies posts 22% hike in Net Sales in Q1FY11

  • PAT stands at Rs 96.60 lacs, up by 10%

India's largest retail company in greetings and gifting segment, Archies Limited reported its Total Income at Rs 3,471.03 for the quarter ending June 30, 2010; up by 22% from Rs 2,829.39 lacs in the previous year.

While the Net Sales for the first quarter of the current fiscal year was Rs 3,450.60 lacs as against Rs 2,816.26 lacs, Other Operating Income stood at Rs 20.43 lacs as against Rs 13.13 lacs in the same period last year

The company’s PAT increased by 10% to Rs 96.60 lacs from Rs 87.63 lacs last year.

 

EPS was registered at Rs 1.43 as against Rs 1.30 in the previous year, a hike of 10%.

Commenting on the result, Mr. Anil Moolchandani, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Archies Limited said, “We are pleased with our performance in the first quarter of the current financial year. Our retail operations constitute 58% of our total revenues. We aim to double our turnover in the next four years, driven by our retail expansion and we are confident that the company will reap favourable success from it.”
