Agro chemical and Pharma Company Astec LifeSciences Limited’ Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Ashok Hiremath, has received the prestigious 'Udyog Ratan Award' from one of India’s foremost research institute ‘Institute of Economic Studies’. Mr. Hiremath was selected for the awards for his “outstanding work and dedicated contribution to the Economic Development of India”. The company also bagged the “Excellence Award” in the field of Economic Development.

The Udyog Rattan Award and Award for Excellence are conferred by the Institute of Economic Studies every year. The institute of Economic Studies was established in 1980 by a group of economists, parliamentarians and industrialists. The organization works on studying various aspects of economy and economic development.
