ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd., the country’s largest private sector General Insurance Company offers customers the advantage of covering all contents of their home under their home insurance policy. Customers can avail insurance cover for the contents of their house against loss due to natural perils like fire, flood, storm etc. as well as man made perils like burglary, attempted burglary or theft. It also covers loss of jewellery, silver articles and precious stones kept under lock.

 

The policy also offers the option of terrorism cover for any damages and losses to the structure as well as the contents of the home due to acts of terrorism. Additionally, if a person is forced to shift into an alternative accommodation because the home is destroyed or damaged by any insured peril, the policy will cover the additional rent to be paid for such accomodation.
