Travel for INR 26,000 for bookings made on 26, 27 and 28 January, 2010
January 25, 2010: To celebrate sixty years since India became a republic, British Airways is offering a special deal for customers flying from Mumbai and Delhi to London. On 26th January, and for another two days, economy class fares will be available for INR 26,000/- only, inclusive of all taxes and charges.
Judy Jarvis, British Airways’ regional commercial manager, South Asia said, “It is 60 years since India became a republic, 80 years since British Airways has been flying to India and 90 years since we started operations as an airline. And since Republic Day is an important national celebration, significant across all of India, we want to mark the occasion with this one-off special deal. We hope that it encourages our customers here in India to remember the ties that bind our two nations and to present a perfect excuse to visit the UK.”
The special Republic Day rates are for flight only prices and are inclusive of all taxes and charges. The base price of each seat from Delhi and Mumbai is INR 8,500 and 9,000 respectively. The remaining amount is made up of taxes and surcharges.
The offer is available across economy cabin classes for flights departing Mumbai and Delhi to London Heathrow and valid for bookings made between January 26 to 28, 2010. Outbound travel has to be between May 01 and June 30 2010.
