Core Projects and Technologies revenues FY10 at Rs 847 cr up by 25%

Core Projects & Technologies Limited one of the leading End-to-End solutions provider in the Education Domain, has posted 25.02% jump in consolidated Revenues at Rs 846.98 crores for the financial year ended 31 March 2010 compared to Rs 677.50 crore during the previous fiscal. PAT increased by 37.87 % at Rs 171.80 crores as compared to Rs 142.03 crores during the previous fiscal.

The company successfully closed its FCCB issue of $75 million during the first week of May.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Sanjeev Mansotra, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company said, “Operations during FY 10 was remarkable. We strengthened our presence across the countries we operate with the bunch of products and solutions we offer in the education sector. Our focus in India has also gained momentum with the order bagged from the Govt. of Maharashtra under ICT@Schools Phase 2 program for setting up computer infrastructure, deploying & running school management software, provision of multimedia educational software on Maharashtra State Curriculum and Teachers’ Training worth Rs 120 crores across three districts of Mumbai, Pune and Kolhapur covering about 947 schools. We are also in the advanced stage of discussion with various states governments in India for implementing similar projects. Our strategy of acquiring education companies in the US & UK are yielding positive results in Indian Sub-continents. We are planning for further acquisitions in the US and UK with which can further strengthen our basket of offering and also plan to tap the market potentials in the African and Middle East markets in the education sector. ”
