Coruscant Tec makes Red Herring Asia Top 100 List

Mumbai, 28 August, 2006: Coruscant Tec, a mobile content developer and aggregator, was recognized and awarded as one of the TOP 100 Companies in Asia for 2006 at a ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong attended by the who's who of news/media and technology in the Digital world.

Each nomination was reviewed and assessed on both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as; technology innovation, market, management, investors, customer, business strategy, financials.

The awards look to find the next wave of companies that are successfully challenging the industry with their innovative technologies and smart business models. The 100 selected companies were invited to present at the Red Herring Venture Market Asia conference, August 28-30 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong in front of 300 c-level executives from potential partners, investors and clients. Coruscant Tec is also profiled in the Red Herring magazine issue published on August 18.

Coruscant Tec which has been developing unique mobile content is an active contributor to the Indian VAS market through its innovative product offerings. These include comic strips on mobile phones such as Uncle Pai and Shiri; Man's World magazine and Rave magazine and videos from the Surabhi foundation.
