- Uday Khanna becomes Non–Executive Chairman of Lafarge India Private Limited
- Ujjwal Batria and Danilo Buscalia nominated as new Joint Managing Directors
- Mr. Deepak Parekh, Chairman of the Housing Development Finance Corporation in India, has joined Lafarge’s International Advisory Board.

Mr. Deepak Parekh, has stepped down from his role as Non-Executive Chairman of Lafarge India Private Limited and Mr. Uday Khanna replaces Mr. Parekh as the Non – Executive Chairman.
Mr. Uday Khanna joined Lafarge Group in 2003 as senior Vice President of Group Strategy in Paris and moved to India as MD and CEO of the Indian operations in 2005. Effective from August 17, 2011, Mr. Khanna retires from his position of MD and CEO, Lafarge India Private Limited.
Mr. Danilo Buscaglia, the current Chief Operating Officer – East Zone, and Mr. Ujjwal Batria, the current Chief Projects Officer, will become joint Managing Directors holding management responsibility for Lafarge India Private Limited, in charge of the Cement Business of Lafarge in India.
