DHL, the world’s leading logistics company, recently announced the launch of DHL JETLINE, a new service for mission-critical international shipments that need immediate pickup and door-to-door delivery with fastest transit to over 220 countries and territories.
Also known in the industry as Next Flight Out, DHL JETLINE uses the first available and most suitable flight to the intended destination of shipments. The service is even faster than the next pickup and delivery offered within the standard DHL network.
Available after hours, on weekends and holidays, the service is paramount to sectors like aerospace, aircraft on ground, automotive, energy, gas, oil, engineering, fashion, manufacturing, financial services, pharmaceutical and entertainment, film and media .
Commenting on the new service, Mr. R.S Subramanian, Country Head, DHL Express India said: “DHL is immensely pleased to launch DHL JETLINE. We are committed to providing our valued customers with specialized transportation solutions to satisfy their requirements outside the DHL network. Through this service, we aim to provide maximum time efficiency for truly flexible and highly urgent deliveries 24/7.”
DHL’s global network provides the superior service and local knowledge required to satisfy emergency shipping requirements. Some of the key benefits include the prevalence of a team of Aircraft On Ground (AOG) professionals who service the most critical AOG shipments. The service also offers real time shipment tracking by job number or tail number and offers flexibility for import and export requirements. Customers can also avail of a 24x7 dedicated customer desk.
As part of the AOG service, customers can be assured of receiving their shipments at top speed. All branches involved in transport handling are kept informed of the status of the items being transported. With a dedicated team, DHL proactively monitors the shipment journey, ensuring on-time delivery of the shipment.
