DHL, the world’s leading logistics company, today announced the signing of a security partnership for its freight forwarding division, DHL Global Forwarding with Hyderabad Menzies Air Cargo Pvt. Ltd. (HMACPL), Hyderabad. Through this partnership, both organizations will work together and agree on standard operating procedures (SOP) for high-value and high-risk air cargo, to share best practices and information on crime trends.

DHL has established global, regional and country specific structures with dedicated security professionals supported by a wide network of on-site security nominees who implement the DHL Logistics Security Standards. These include security risk classifications, security self-assessments and comprehensive security audits. More than 30 sites across Asia Pacific adhere to TAPA Freight Security Requirement 2011 Class “A” Certification and are validated members of the United States Customs –Trade Partnership against Terrorism Program.
The DHL – Hyderabad Menzies partnership is the first such initiative in Hyderabad, following the success of DHL’s similar collaborations with Cargo Terminal Operators across India.
