Era Infra bags back to back contracts from Birla Tyres, Alps Ind

Era Infra Engineering Ltd. through their construction & contracts division has bagged back to back contracts from Birla Tyres and Alps Industries. The company has successfully executed contracts with these clients previously and has been awarded fresh contracts for their further expansion purpose.

The scope of work for the contract involves the construction of two Tyre plants for Birla Tyres at Haridwar, Uttarakhand, combined contract value being Rs. 55 crores Both these plants are scheduled to be completed by April 2009. On the other hand, the scope of work for Alps Industries involves construction of Weaving and processing unit at Meerut, UP, contract value being Rs. 10.5 crores in this case. This is scheduled to be completed by February 2009.

 

The combined value of all these three contracts is Rs.65.5 crores excluding the cost of cement and steel.
