Global Offshore Services Limited (Formerly known as Garware Offshore Services Limited) one of the leading offshore vessels services providers has bagged a contract for 4 years in Brazil worth Rs 1,945 million. The company’s large platform supply vessel (PSV), MV Beaucephalus, owned by its wholly owned subsidiary, viz., Global Offshore Services B.V., will be deployed in the Brazilian waters for approx. value of Rs 486 million per annum.
The large PSV was delivered to the company’s wholly owned subsidiary in Dec 2010. The PSV is a ‘state of art’ Havyard 832L SE Design, Diesel Electric with “Clean” Notation, DP2, FiFi and SPS Code.
Commenting on this development, Mr. Aditya Garware, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Global Offshore Services Limited said, “We are delighted to have this contract which will give a boost to our growth. Global Offshore’s total fleet size stands at 13 vessels which comprises of 6 Anchor Handling Tug cum Supply Vessels (AHTSV), 4 Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), 1 Accommodation Work Barge (AWB) on BBC, 1 AHTSV on BBC and 1 Large PSV owned by its subsidiary.
