New Delhi, July 25, 2007: Global Vectra Helicorp Ltd. (GVHL) (BSE Code 532773; NSE Code GLOBALVECT), the leading helicopter company in oil and gas air logistics, has announced its net profit to be at Rs 10.81 crore, for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007. |
Income from operations for the first quarter rose to Rs 45.74 crore in comparison with the corresponding quarter last year of Rs 28.30 Crore; a growth of 62%. Other Income is at Rs 10.86 crore which include credit of Rs 10.29 crore due to effect of changes in foreign exchange rates vide notification dated 7th December, 2006 which became applicable w.e.f. 1st April, 2007 which hitherto was adjusted against the value of fixed assets. Bottom line for the said quarter soared to Rs 10.81 crore. The earnings per share of GVHL for the quarter is at Rs 7.72 against Rs 10.03 for FY 2006-07. Aircraft utilization has also increased as E&P activities have ramped up along the east coast. The fleet size of GVHL is now 21 helicopters. |
