Sure to deliver fantastic pictures with minimal effort, the J40, seeks to offer wide photographic versatility with the Panoramic Shooting mode which allows users to get immaculate shots of sweeping landscapes and large groups of people. All you have to do is to take three consecutive shots of scene and the clever technology will take care of the rest. The technology seamlessly stitches the different shots to create one superb panoramic image. Another feature, the Scene Recognition Auto (SR Auto), intelligently detects a scene without the need to pre-select a camera mode. Fujifilm, having identified the most commonly photographed subjects, has developed a technology that automatically recognizes different possible scenes- Portrait, Backlit Portrait, Night Portrait, Landscape, Night and Micro. Users have to just aim at the scene and the camera adjusts itself according to the landscape to take a sharp, articulate and color loaded picture!
Image blur can so often ruin photographs. Not now with the J40. Fitted with Picture Stabilisation technology, it minimizes image blur and ensures clearer pictures. Camera shakes are also kept to an absolute minimum. Face Detection technology sets focus and exposure on faces other than anything else in the background, revealing sharp and evenly lit facial features.
What more, you can now set the scene as well! The camera carries different scene modes ranging from ‘Flowers’ to ‘Sunsets’. You just have to select a particular scene and the camera automatically selects the appropriate shutter speed, exposure and white balance to ensure that you have a great shot with the least amount of effort.
Plus, you can try out the Microthumbnail View in playback which displays up to 100 thumbnails of your photos so you can quickly find your favorite snap. The camera is compatible with SD/SDHC memory cards which are available in a range of 2GB to 32GB sizes. Plus there is an extra 10MB of internal memory so you don't have to worry about filling up your memory card every time.
