Hindustan Tin Works Ltd celebrated its founder’s day on 8th Feb 2011 paying rich tributes to its founder Late Shri K L Bhatia. The company successfully completed 52 years to serve the packaging industry and has emerged as the leading CAN maker of India. The senior management and employees have come together to pay their respects to late Shri K L Bhatia.
Mr. Sanjay Bhatia (MD) of Hindustan Tin Works said “We celebrate founder’s day every year to pay homage to late Shri K L Bhatia. Hindustan Tin has successfully completed its 52 years and I thank all my staff and business partners for their constant support and confidence in the Company”
Sh. KL Bhatia Memorial sports tournament event was organized by the company that was held in the month of January at Murthal plant site, Haryana. Almost 250 employees participated in the competition in various events like Badminton, Chess, Carom, Kabaddi & Volley Ball.
At the end of the event Mr. Sanjay Bhatia (MD) honored prizes to the winners and special mementoes were also presented to personnel who have worked for more than 25 years with the company – Mr Satish Saxena, Mr Pradeep Bhatia, Mr R K Khanna, MR VP Tyagi, Mr Susheel Goel, Mr Sudhir Tyagi, Mr Gurmeet Singh, Mr Darshan Pal and Mrs. Susheela Pillai, HTW believes that such sports activities encourages team building and in providing a good working environment to the employees in which they can nurture themselves, get motivated and feel respected.
The company also made humble contributions to old aged home, Leprosy Ashram, Sonepat and at Bal Gram, Rai.
Mr. Paras Bhatia, Sr Vice President briefed the employees on the company’s focus on quality, GMP’s, environment sustainability, training and team building.
