Hungama re-aligns strategic team

* Makes three new appointments at top level

Mumbai, March 19, 2008: Hungama, South Asia's leading digital entertainment company, has made three key senior appointments to strengthen its business operations in South Asia. Building the strategic re-alignment, the company has appointed Mr. Anand Jhingan as Senior Vice president -International Mobile business of Hungama Mobile, Mr. Hemant Jain as Senior Vice president -Domestic business of Hungama Mobile and Mr. Manan Chhatrapati as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Hungama.

Mr. Anand Jhingan handles the entire operations of International business of Hungama Mobile. He brings with himself 13 years of business development and client-facing consulting experience across national and international markets. He has skills in sales, design and delivery of solutions while working primarily with Fortune 500 firms such as, IBM, J.P. Morgan Chase, Sun Microsystems, Citigroup, Amazon.com, Fujitsu in USA and Aptech Ltd in Mumbai, India.

Mr. Hemant Jain has taken charge of the Domestic business of Hungama Mobile. He is responsible for leading Hungama Mobile's growth to emerge as a dominant player in the mobile content industry in India. He has over 14 years of diverse experience and knowledge in sales, marketing, strategic planning and business management functions with leading organizations across a variety of industry verticals which include media (internet, mobile, radio and print), retail (broadband services) and telecom (VSAT). He is a veteran in the Internet & Digital media space and in the past has set up interactive/digital media divisions for leading advertising agencies. He has worked with renowned firms as HCL Comnet, Indian Express, Euro RSCG, Mudra Communications, Reliance World (formerly Reliance Web World) and Radio City.

Mr. Manan Chhatrapati as a CTO observes smooth work flow in digital business from technical aspects. He is responsible for creating and executing technology roadmap for the digital and mobile business and monitors the creative, technical and business development team. With 25 years of knowledge in the domestic and international software industry, he began his career with AT&T Bell Laboratories in USA, and also worked as the MD of Cider Computer Pvt Ltd (franchisee of Aptech Ltd.) and PIE Computer & Investments Pvt Ltd.
