Developed by Northeastern University, management program to be piloted with IBM Daksh managers
IBM has partnered with Boston, USA-based Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration (CBA), a world leader in practice-based education, to offer India-based IBM managers a newly-developed, online MBA program. The initiative, to be piloted with IBM Daksh managers, is another example of the company's effort to building strong worldwide management teams and improving global competitiveness. IBM Daksh employees based across its centres in India or (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore) can now benefit by earning the prestigious MBA degree without disrupting their ongoing careers.

The program curriculum provides a solid foundation in all areas of business enterprise from the fundamentals of operations, finance and marketing, to strategic planning. Emphasis is placed on globalization and enterprise growth taught through case studies enhanced by insights of program faculty with real-world experience.
The management program structure is so tailored to meet the requirements of IBM working professionals who require the convenience of a totally online program. The program offers the same core courses and electives as Northeastern University’s traditional part time MBA and is taught by the same faculty and is fully accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide. The program is structured using a “carousel” model allowing students to begin the first year at nine different entry dates. Courses, which typically run 5 weeks in duration, are offered in a consecutive format allowing students to complete their core requirements in as little as a year. In Year Two of the program, students complete their capstone courses and electives.
IBM Managers taking on the course will receive individual support while in the program and are assigned dedicated program representatives who assist them with such services as academic advice, course registration, the acquisition of text books and other required study materials and technical support.
