IBM wins contract to manage Multivendor Environment at LeasePlan India

Dynamic Infrastructure Support to improve availability, simplify management & reduce costs

IBM (NYSE: IBM) announced today that it has signed an agreement with LeasePlan India Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading vehicle leasing and fleet management company, to support and manage their multi-vendor IT environment. LeasePlan chose IBM for its proven expertise to provide a single consolidated maintenance services contract for both IBM & Non-IBM hardware products to ensure better vendor management & tracking.

Being an operational car leasing company, LeasePlan delivers a comprehensive range of corporate car mobility solutions. Right from helping corporates design their car policies to day-to-day management of the vehicles including repair and maintenance, insurance and end of term resale, LeasePlan is a preferred fleet management partner for leading Indian corporates and multinational companies. LeasePlan decided to make a strategic investment in multi-vendor support to manage their IT infrastructure, including hardware & onsite support, across all its locations in India to manage its risk better and enhance efficiencies.
