Bangalore based International Institute of Business Studies (IIBS), one of the fastest growing B-Schools in India, conducted its “Graduation Day” for MBA (M09 batch) students recently at its campus in Bangalore. The ceremony witnessed the graduation of 100 students. Apart from the distribution of graduation certificates and certificates of appreciation, the ceremony was also a platform to present high-achievers with meritorious achievement awards and prizes.
The dais was blessed with the gracious presence of Padma Bhushana & National Professor for Management, Prof. N.S Ramaswamy, the multifaceted, multidimensional, man of many missions who was the chief guest of the evening; Honorable Chairman of IIBS, Dr.Jay Prakash; Director of IIBS, Dr.K.Ramadas and National Head (Corporate Relations & Administration) of IIBS, Dr.Mrinmoy Biswas.
Padma Bhushana & National Professor for Management Prof.N.S Ramaswamy also administered the convocation oath to the students.
Dr. K Ramadas, Director of IIBS gave the welcome address. Dr. Ramadas had played a major role in IIBS in imparting to the graduating students on how to make a living, how to live a life and how to balance between Lakshmi and Saraswati. He has a broad vision for all the students and his parental leadership has equally influenced students and faculties to strive for excellence in all endeavors.
Padma Bhushana & National Professor for Management Prof.N.S Ramaswamy, who is also the Chief Mentor of IIBS, addressed the students with a note that success depends on competence, character along with God’s grace. He also highlighted the tolerance of Indians as India has never invaded any country though we were invaded more than 59 times. Indians have overcome the national barriers and successfully made a mark in the corporate sector all over the world. He strongly emphasized the value of ethical management in his address to the students.
Dr. Jay Prakash, Chairman IIBS in his address advised students to work towards their dreams by not taking short cuts in life. Dr. Jay Prakash is an extremely committed professional who initiatives have helped IIBS become one of the finest MBA institutes in the country.
Dr.Mrinmoy Biswas, National Head (Corporate Relations & Administration, the pillar of IIBS who has two decades of corporate and academic exposure, enlightened the students with induction stories from corporate world and how to make their mark by navigating through obstacles.
