Pre-recorded advertising calls! Pesky sales calls! Cranky/midnight calls! NOT ANYMORE

India’s emergence as among the fastest growing mobile markets in the world is not so music for many mobile users for whom it has meant intrusions of multiple hues and from varied sources. Not anymore though! Aquilonis, a fast growing Indian mobile technology company formally announced the market availability of the first of its kind mobile application, XBLOCKR that enables users avoid unwanted calls discreetly, without offending the caller. XBLOCKR that promises to introduce the much needed privacy in the mobile space has been validated by 25,000 users across 250 types of handsets and is compatible with multiple mobile platforms including Symbian, BlackBerry and Windows, enabling users activate the feature readily and easily. Additionally it occupies minimal space in the handset memory and works real time, thus addressing key challenges of mobile applications.

Besides www.XBLOCKR.com the application is currently available for download at app stores such as Airtel App Central, Nokia’s OVI and Microsoft marketplace for windows phone. XBLOCKR was developed over too man years of R&D effort by a crack team of engineers in Aquilonis sparse Bangalore facility.

Elaborating on the concept behind XBLOCKR, Rahuldev Rajguru, Co-Founder & CEO of Aquilonis, said,” We realized that the Indian mobile user has been for long seeking a solution that would help them to enable Do Not Disturb option, discreetly duck, drop or divert unwanted calls without offending the caller. The key is to be able to do this in real-time and being able to simulate an error message to end the call. Our belief got validated when without any promotion or marketing, we had over 5000 downloads of XBLOCKR from app stores in its first week of availability. We expect more network service providers to offer this and of course thousands of new users to sign-up considering this is an application for which there is a dire need.”
