Interface named among world's top sustainable stocks

Interface Inc., a worldwide leader in the production of environmentally responsible modular floor coverings, has been named among 20 public companies that are having an important impact on creating an environmentally sustainable society.
 
SustainableBusiness.com announced the world's top sustainable companies, which are changing the world for the better. It mentioned that Interface continues its climb up "Mount Sustainability" innovating in materials and processes used to make carpet tiles.
 
InterfaceFLOR, the modular flooring division of Interface Inc., has a 100% subsidiary in India, InterfaceFLOR India Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Bangalore.
 
During the mid nineties, the company's founder and chairman, Ray Anderson, put the company on track to becoming the first sustainable company by 2020. Now defined as Mission Zero, the company's drive to achieve a zero environmental footprint is a central part of the organisation's ethos and culture.
