IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited (‘IRB”), (BSE: 532947) one of the largest toll road operating companies in India has emerged as the Preferred Bidder for the Six Laning of Tumkar-Chitradurga Section from km.75.00 to km. 189.00 of NH-4 in the State of Karnataka under NHDP Phase V on BOT basis.
Based on the DBFO pattern, the project is on Premium basis and the estimated project cost is Rs 1200 crore. The project length is approximately 114 Km. IRB gets a concession period of 26 years and the company has to pay a premium of Rs.140.40 Crore for the Project to the NHAI, in the first year.
