In keeping with its tradition of celebrating International Women’s day and as part of its JetViva initiative, Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, is set to honour its women travelers this month. As part of its “Celebrating Womanhood” initiative, Jet Airways, will offer its women guests special benefits, fares and offers to commemorate International Women’s day.
As part of the “Celebrating Womanhood” initiative, effective February 25 to March 31, 2010, every group with at least one woman traveller that makes a booking on the airline's online destination namely www.jetairways.com, will enjoy a 5% discount on base fare and fuel surcharge (excluding applicable taxes). A similar discount of 5% would also be available for booking done for the First Class, Premiere or Economy travel on all routes operated by Jet Airways or Jet Airways’ Konnect service or JetLite. Ticket must be booked between February 18, 2011 and March 31, 2011 for travel between February 25, 2011 and March 31, 2011.
Jet Airways is also set to introduce a unique in-flight fundraising collection drive for three Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) working on a range of women’s issues. India’s premier airline will contribute all proceeds from this drive to benefit three NGOs namely - Mijwan, Seva Sadan Society and Prem Seva Mahila Mandal, all of which are dedicated to empowering underprivileged women in India.
In addition to which 10 Women guests travelling on Jet Airways, JetLite and Jet Airways Konnect flights will get a chance to win exciting offers selected through lucky draw from JUST JEWELS effective March 1 to 31, 2011. Further, Jet Airways will be extending Lindt Chocolates to all its women guests travelling on March 8 at select metros.
