Jet official airline for Manipur Tourism Fest

Mumbai, November 3, 2006: Jet Airways, the country's premier airline, has been appointed as the official airline partner for the Manipur Tourism Festival 2006.

Kicking off the four day celebrations from November 6, Jet Airways has introduced special fares for travel to and from Imphal between November 4 to 11, 2006.

Manipur is a state with rich cultural heritage and is one of the favourite tourist destinations. The Manipur Tourism Festival 2006 will be one of the largest festivals covering the entire gamut of tourism and its related activities. Impetus will be given to art and culture, flora and fauna, handicrafts and handloom, indigenous sports, and the eco-tourism potential of Manipur. Conducted tours to major pilgrimage and tourist spots of Manipur, accompanied by experienced guides will be available during the Manipur Tourism Festival.

Effective November 4 to 11, Jet Airways will offer a special check fare of Rs 4000, for flights operating from Delhi to Imphal via Guwahati. Passengers willing to fly from Delhi to Imphal via Kolkata will be offered a special fare of Rs 4750.

Jet Airways will also offer a special fare of Rs 1900 for passengers travelling between Imphal and Kolkata during this period.

A fare of Rs 1225 will be available to passengers flying on the Guwahati and Imphal corridors. All the fares stated above are exclusive of taxes.
