Lenovo, BloombergUTV present CXO Awards 2011 - The Technology Chapter

BloombergUTV, India’s leading business news channel, and Lenovo, the world’s fastest growing PC maker for 7 straight quarters, today, announced the commencement of the hugely successful CXO Awards – The Technology Chapter. Now in its second edition, the awards aim to applaud the efforts of renowned leaders as well as rising stars that have made a maximum impact through the application of technology. Lenovo has teamed up with BloombergUTV and invites nominations from leaders who have made an exceptional contribution to business and society through breakthrough application of technology. 

This year, apart from honoring recognised industry champions, 'CXO Awards 2011 - The Technology Chapter', will also recognise leaders who have made a maximum impact in government, education and society through innovative application of technology. The winners in each category will be selected by an eminent jury panel using compelling analysis parameters by PricewaterhouseCoopers - the knowledge partner for this event. Eighteen such accomplished leaders will be conferred awards under six categories in a high profile ceremony to be held in Mumbai on 16th December 2011.

CXO Awards 2011 – Technology Chapter will reward winners across six main categories (Education Project Implementation, Government Project Implementation, Small & Medium Enterprises/Large Enterprises, Individual, Industry Awards and People's Choice Awards). The People’s Choice Award is a special award instituted by CXO Awards this year, which aims to honor IT companies that are highly regarded by the CIO community and IT employees. The jury panel consists of distinguished names such as S. Mahalingam (CFO & ED, TCS), Ashank Desai (Co-Founder & Advisor, Mastek), Harish Mehta (CMD, Onward Technologies Ltd.), Dr. Saurabh Srivastava (Chairman-India, CA Technologies) and Dr. Ganesh Natarajan (Vice Chairman & CEO, Zensar Technologies).
