With the success of these product categories the brands targets a market share of 30% in LCD TVs, Frost Free Refrigerators, Top Loading Washing Machine, Split Air Conditioners & Convection Microwave Ovens. In GSM phones category, the brand is targeting 10% market share.
The reason behind the strategy is to customise products as per Indian requirements to tap the immense potential in the respective segments & ensuring profitability in them. The product “Jazz” LCD TV (32”-42”) has witnessed a growth of 58% as against category growth of 42%. Similarly the “Indian Auto Cook Microwave Oven Range” growth is 15% against the 10% category growth. For the Indian customized Top loading Washing Machine & Frost Free Refrigerators the growth is 25% whereas overall category is growing at 15%. In case of “Aero Comfort System Split ACs” the growth is 22% whereas the Split AC category growth is 18%. In GSM also the segment growth stands at 6% as compared to 5% category growth.
