- Ms. Anuradha Gupta, IAS, Hon’ble Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health, Govt. of India delivers convocation address
- Around 350 students conferred degrees
Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Manav Rachna International University, a worthy successor of Career Institute of Technology & Management (CITM) hosted their 5th convocation ceremony for the students of 2009 and 2010 Passout batch.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Ms. Aruradha Gupta. IAS, Hon’ble Joint Secretary, Minister of Health, Govt. of India as the Chief Guest.
Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU, while delivering his welcome address said. “It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the creative world of Manav Rachna International University, which is an infrastructural grandeur and educational galore seeking new vistas of wisdom and knowledge to stand out distinctly apart from the milling crowd of educational providers.”
The annual report was presented by Dr. M. K. Soni, Dean, FET highlighting the progress and development that have taken place in various departments. In his address, Dr. Soni said, “Technological development alone will take India to the forefront of developed nations and the speed to this technological revolution will be lent by none, but you the present engineers.”
Dr. O.P. Bhalla. Chancellor, MRIU, while congratulating the students on the successful completion of their courses said, “You don’t have to put undue effort to showcase your knowledge, skills, and more importantly your attitude in the organizations you join or the jobs you take up. Your actions and the responsibilities you take up will speak volumes about you. What you need to do is to be willing to take responsibilities and be completely committed to your jobs. Your growth, both in your professional and personal life will be more satisfying if you are governed by your core values and stand by them in adverse conditions.”
Chief Guest Ms. Anuradha Gupta, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health, Govt. of India, who conferred the degrees to the students of Faculty of Engineering and Technology 2009/10 batch said, “I am proud of MRIU’s faculty and congratulate the students who are passing out of this glorious educational institute.” She also presented the outstanding students and competition winners with various academic prizes.

The ceremony Convocation 2011 ended on a joyous note with students throwing their graduation caps in the air with beaming eyes looking forward to yet another challenging phase of their lives.
