MCHI announces this year's October edition of PROPERTY 2010

PROPERTY 2010 – the most eagerly awaited Real Estate & Housing Finance exhibition is being organized by Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) along with State Bank of India and Axis Bank, as Co-Organisers.

This exhibition is scheduled to be held at the MMRDA grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex from October 21st to October 24th.

All the leading developer members of MCHI, the most prominent body of real estate developers in the country, will showcase more than 400 projects in this the 17th edition of the Housing Finance and Real Estate exhibition.

 

PROPERTY 2010 will be inaugurated on 21st October 2010 and will be open exclusively to business visitors from 11am to 4pm. Homebuyers are welcome to visit the exhibition from 4pm onwards on 21st October and also at any time between 11am and 8pm on any of the days between 22nd October and 24th October 2010.

PROPERTY 2010 is organized bi-annually by MCHI and is currently in its 10th year. Since its inception, over 250,000 families have made this event the definitive home buyers’ destination. It offers the largest range of properties and developments from across all segments including budget, mid-segment and luxurious situated across the length and breath of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and other Indian Cities. Further with the presence of fifteen leading banks & Housing Finance Institutions (HFIs), the widest possible choice of home loan products are also offered.

MCHI is proud to be partnered by State Bank of India, and Axis Bank, who are the Co-organisers of PROPERTY 2010. HDFC and ICICI are Platinum Partners; while HSBC and India Bulls Housing Finance Ltd., are the Gold Partners.

Mr. Boman Irani, Chairman, MCHI Exhibitions Committee said – “PROPERTY 2010 is being organized to enhance the comfort and convenience of the home buyer. There are a number of initiatives that have been taken to make sure that every visitor thoroughly enjoys the experience of buying a home, while making the most informed choice. The family will get to learn about the largest and choicest properties and developments, under one single roof.”

Mr. Mukesh Patel, Co-Chairman, MCHI Exhibitions Committee further shared – “We are sure PROPERTY 2010 will turn out to be the largest ‘home buying experience zone’ as there are over 70 developers exhibiting over 400 properties and developments from across the MMR.”

Commenting on the PROPERTY 2010, bollywood actor Boman Irani said, “Such a simple way to go about such a complex process”

MCHI has worked with all the participants to make sure that all projects exhibited for sale will be in adherence with the MCHI Assurance. This simply means that these projects will have a Commencement Certificate (CC) and/or Intimation of Dis-Approvals (IOD). All these projects would further also fulfill the requirement of sanctions towards home loans from any leading HFI or nationalized bank. Any project without the above will be clearly labeled as an “upcoming project” at this exhibition.

Among the new initiatives introduced is a Kids’ Zone which will be managed by a professional child caretaker agency. To enhance customer comfort there is the added facility of pre-registering to attend the show from the comfort of your home or office. Pre-registrations can be done through a website, SMS or via a call-center (set up especially for the event).
