MDLR Airlines launches full service ops out of Delhi

New Delhi - April 27th 2007: The Gurgaon-based MDLR Airlines, has started its commercial operations. The Airlines which received its first Airplane "BAE (British Aerospace systems) - Four Engined Avro RJ70 AVRo RJ 100" a month ago and the second one yesterday started its operations after getting the DGCA approval for commercial flights.

The Airlines will be starting its Full service two class (Club and Economy) Regional sector operation out of Delhi and Chandigarh to Ranchi & Kolkata. in the first phase. Operations will later be expanded to Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur, and Bhavnagar and a few more Northern cities in the months to come.

Speaking at the occasion Mr.Gopal Goyal, Chairman MDLR Airlines said "We have for the first time introduced to the people of India the Luxurious Four Engine AVRO RJ 70 jets with elaborate All vegetarian cuisine and world class service'. "Our Airlines will act as the key link of air-services from Industrial town's to other metro's" he further added.

Starting as a low Cost carrier, MDLR Airline is building up its Check-in counters, offices in all its destinations and plans to make Chandigarh as one of the large regional jet hub after Delhi & Jaipur in the Northern India. Two Aircraft in two class configuration, full leather upholstered seats have already arrived in India. The current fleet of two will be expanded and additional fleet of atleast 3-4 -Avro RJ 100 aircrafts will be inducted in the fleet by the end of this calendar year.

MDLR is the first Airline in the region to start with Four Engine BAe AVRO RJ 70. These planes are the largest in the Regional Jet family, spacious with comfort, leg-space, plush interiors with two class configuration.

MDLR has full computerised paper-free web based system which integrates all its system. This would include Reservation, Ticketing, e-ticketing, Check-ins, Departure control system, inventory Management, Load and Trim management, Yield Control, Duty roistering, CRM and Dispatch reliability .

MDLR Airlines's staff has been given a through training for more than 45 days at the company's state of the art 1500 sq.ft Training and Research centre at Gurgaon. According to company officials, the dress which will be supported by the aircraft staff will have prominent pink and blue uniforms.

MDLR has already has set up a Toll Free Customer Contact Cener (1800-103-1800) and a website (www.mdlrairlines.in) for customer information. It has also setup Airport counters and Chec-in facilities at every airport.

The Airline has aptly imbibed the latest technology in terms of enabling tele, SMS and roaming check-ins., Web check-in, Airport and City check-in, Sms check-in, Roaming check-ins The roaming passenger service executive ladies- located at each airport would would check-in passengers with Handbaggage through wi-fi/Blue tooth technology), Lounge checkins, Return check-ins, this service will be available for return ticket holders only.

"We are planning to launch our exclusive launches at different Non-metro capitals and are also in the process of introducing City Lounge check-in facility at Delhi, Gurgaon and Chandigarh," said Mr Goyal.

According to Mr Goyal, the Airline has been able to get the most experienced personals from the Indian Airline industry. MDLR Airlines has already Mr.Koustav M. Dhar ( ex-VP of Air Sahara with numbers of years of International experience ) as the President- Commercial & Sp.Projects. The Management team and the operational team also comprises of seasoned professionals from the Indian aviation industry.
