Meru Cabs recruiting 500 drivers by September 2010

Meru Cabs, India’s largest radio cab service provider, is looking to hire an additional 500 subscribers (drivers) in Bangalore by September 2010, owing to the accelerated demand by passengers over the last few months. The estimated increase in the passenger demand is valued at over 10% month on month.

The company, whose primary focus is on achieving service reliability and a consistently high quality of service, considers the subscribers as a key asset area in this endeavour and has announced plans for recruitment by September to stay abreast with the increase in demand. 

 

As Meru Cabs grows and processes mature, there comes a need to automate various tasks, have real-time information available and take decisions based on data. The company has upgraded and automated its systems, to enable instant system booking confirmations to save passengers time.
