Employing more than 20 spam-prevention techniques, Symantec Mail Security 8300 Series reduces the amount of e-mail processed through Exchange Server 2007 by eliminating spam before it enters the gateway. With Symantec Enterprise Vault, customers can archive e-mail from Exchange Server to second-tier storage while providing seamless access to archived messages. Eases Migration: Symantec Enterprise Vault enables organizations to proactively archive a large percentage of mailbox content prior to migration, leaving only the small amount of "live" mailbox data to be migrated. This helps ease the overall migration process while maintaining messaging service levels.

Protects Against Data Leakage: Together Symantec Mail Security 8300 Series and Symantec Enterprise Vault enable companies to effectively enforce message retention and confidentiality policies. With its content control modules, Symantec Mail Security 8300 Series helps ensure confidential corporate data doesn't leave the organization.
