MSRIT inaugurates the first semester Bachelor of Engineering/ B. Arch classes

M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), Bangalore, today inaugurated the first semester Bachelor of Engineering / B. Arch classes for the academic year 2010-11.

Mr. Jasbir Singh, Director, GMW Group of Companies & an alumnus of MSRIT, was the Guest of Honour & Prof. P. Balaram, Director, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore was the Chief Guest.

The function was presided by Dr. M. R. Jayaram, Chairman, Gokula Education Foundation.

Said Dr. K. Rajanikanth, Principal, MSRIT, “In its endeavor to impart high quality technical education, MSRIT is proud to announce the commencement of another batch of B.E / B. Arch with an aim to fulfill the dreams of thousands of students. All the departments are equipped with competent faculty, with over 97% of them being post graduates or Ph.D holders. All research departments are active with sponsored projects and more than 130 scholars are pursuing Ph.D. The centre for advanced training & continuing education, centre for research & industrial consultancy and entrepreneurship development cell have been set up on campus”.

 

MSRIT is a self financing Institution  established in Bangalore in the year 1962 by the industrialist and philanthropist Late Dr. M.S. Ramaiah. MSRIT as well as 17 other reputed institutions offering Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Business Management and Legal Education are managed by the Gokula Education Foundation (GEF). The mission statement of GEF is “To deliver education and health for the betterment of mankind”. MSRIT has an ISO 9001:2008 certification from BVQI.

The institution is a participant of the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP). MSRIT is a member of DELNET and AICTE-INDEST Consortium.
