Mudra MAX maxes it at PMAA 2010

Bags 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze Dragons and 6 Orders of Merits

Mudra MAX recently bagged top honours at the prestigious Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA) 2010. Mudra MAX, the Mudra Group’s diversified engagement and experience agency, has bagged a total of 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Dragons, along with 6 Orders of Merit at the PMAA 2010 awards announced recently. This is the highest tally of any Indian agency at the PMAAs this year.

Mudra MAX bagged Gold Dragons for its ‘Lemon Army’ campaign for 7UP and its Aircel ‘Boat’ campaign during the Mumbai monsoons.

The 7UP Lemon Army was a unique campaign that gave the much loved sport of cricket a lemony twist. The Lemon Army activity reached out to nearly 40,000 people and attracted almost 350 amateur cricket teams who participated to win the chance of playing with the Chennai Super Kings during the Indian Premier League. The Aircel Boat campaign made unique use of the OOH medium to bring the Aircel experience to hundreds of stranded Mumbaikars during the monsoon onslaught last year. Aircel placed a unique hoarding at Milan Subway, an area in Mumbai most prone to water-logging, with a real life raft tied to it. The hoarding simply said ‘In case of emergency, cut rope.’ Indeed, as incessant rain flooded the area, bystanders took the onus of cutting the rope and using the life raft to ferry stranded citizens from one end of the flooded subway to another. The campaign launched Aircel with a bang in the country and generated lakhs of free PR for the brand.

 

Mudra MAX has also won a Silver for its ‘The Film God speaks on India’s biggest religion’. This unique promotion saw superstar Amitabh Bachchan give live cricket commentary as the popular character, Auro (from the movie PAA), during the India- Sri Lanka T20 match. The 2 Bronze Dragons have been awarded to Mudra MAX for its campaign for the National Association for the Blind, ‘May I help you?’ and Wrigley’s ‘Mumbai Smiles’- the world’s largest oral care marathon.
