Muthoot Pappachan Group Unveils Its New Brand Identity

Muthoot Pappachan Group, one of the foremost corporate houses in Kerala, unveiled its new brand identity at a press conference in the city. The Muthoot Pappachan Group has grown into one of Kerala’s largest diversified corporate conglomerates with an annual turnover of Rs. 20000 crores and a loyal customer base of over one million. In the financial sector the Group’s NBFCs have adopted the Service Company Model to expand micro-finance operations and to make its services available in every nook and corner of the areas of its operations. The Group has also strong presence in other sectors including Hospitality (hotels and flight kitchen) IT Infrastructure, Automobile Dealership and Wind Power.

 

The Muthoot Pappachan Group’s Identity is a combination of two most important visual elements-the symbol and the word mark. The symbol and the word mark are coloured in blue.The blue colour represents the personality as also the distictiveness of the Group and would help it to achieve a unique position to stand out in the industry; as also it signifies and characterizes the organization’s core values of trust and integrity.It is also the colour of the future.The Group umbrella brand would co-exist with other Group Companies as well in a cobranding situation.

The new identity is designed by the award winning Design and Strategy Firm Icarus based in Bangalore. This Identity highlights the trust invested in the Group through a distinctive mark. The entire rebranding process involved a series of dialogues, alterations, guidance and supervision.

“The Muthoot Pappachan Group logo is the keystone of our corporate identity, an expression of our personality and the basic values we stand for.The new identity would help us to reposition our image, which is both strong and flexible as we venture out into new markets. It would also create for us a distinct brand as the Group is slowly diversifying into other business segments” Mr Thomas George Muthoot, Managing Director of Muthoot Pappachan Group, said.
