As a global industry, Indian IT-BPO sector continues to offer value to countries and we will hear the specifics of this value proposition from many of them at the Summit. Some of the participants include representatives from Egypt, Brazil, China, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Poland, Kazakistan, France, Mauritius,Sri Lanka, Kazakistan, Bhutan. Additionally, Nigeri, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Rwanda, Madagascar, Senegal are the eight African countries participating this year.  We also have confirmations from over 7 analyst firms and we expect them to offer great value to delegates in terms of what to expect from the current environment.”

The overall theme for the forum this year would be ‘Reshaping the global economy’. ITIDA, the Egyptian IT Industry Development Agency, will be the platinum sponsor at this year’s event.  Dr Hazem Abdelazim, CEO, ITIDA said, “Egypt is well placed to be the next location for geographical expansion for Indian outsourcing companies. Egypt’s strategic location provides an ideal gateway to the Middle East, which remains largely untapped. Over recent years Egypt has given renewed momentum to trade partnership, particularly in the ICT sector. Currently Indian direct investment in Egypt totals $800m in more than 200 Egyptian companies.  Our reforms have reflected positively in Egypt’s macro-economic indicators, and Egypt has emerged as one of the leading economies in Africa and the Middle East; ranked as the most attractive destination for FDI in the region.”

Abdelazim and a delegation of both multinational and local Egyptian outsourcing companies will be attending the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum to demonstrate Egypt’s strong position as a leading partner of India’s outsourcing industry.
