In Q3 2011, NComputing had achieved 200% YoY (year-on-year) growth in shipments of its virtual desktop solutions in India. The company has achieved particular success in the education and public sectors, having supplied 60% of its solutions in schools throughout India. 30% of sales were to small and mid-sized businesses (SMB), a market that is increasingly turning to virtual desktops as a high performance, low cost desktop computing solution. NComputing disrupted legacy economics and technology models to put high performance computing into the hands of business users and students at the lowest total cost possible. This is a key driver behind their market growth in India.”
