Nimbus awarded EPL mobile & Internet rights

Mumbai, August 9, 2007: Nimbus Sport has expanded its portfolio of rights in new media and in football with the award of the Premier League's Mobile and Internet rights for over 80 countries. The Premier League is widely regarded as the elite club competition in world football. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool are among the 20 clubs that constitute the Premier League.

Nimbus Sport has been awarded the mobile and internet rights for the next 3 years "� covering the 1140 English Premier League matches that will be played until the end of the 2009-10 Premier League season. The rights awarded to Nimbus Sport span countries across the globe "� including China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and other countries in Asia; UAE, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Egypt, and other countries in the Middle East and North Africa; Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and Belgium in Europe; and reaching as far as Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. The 2007/2008 Barclays Premier League season kicks off on 11th August and will showcase 380 matches until May 2008.
