Launch of Europe’s leading customer loyalty program brings new benefits for consumers and partner companies
Payback has arrived in India. Europe’s most successful multi-partner loyalty program now offers Indian consumers more value for their money. Indian companies benefit from Payback’s industry-leading marketing platform with its proven track record in boosting customer loyalty and increasing sales substantially. “We are launching new tools that generate great value for our members and for the Payback partner companies: Shoppers get better deals and retailers a deeper understanding of their clients”, says Alexander Rittweger, founder and CEO of the Loyalty Partner group, Payback’s parent. Payback’s launch concludes the integration of i-mint, one year after the purchase of a controlling stake in the program.
More than 30 partners with 1,500 outlets and ten million card members make Payback the largest multi-partner loyalty program in India. Payback introduces a unique and highly valuable loyalty currency, the Payback points. The program works with market leading pan-Indian players from the banking, retail, travel, petroleum and online sector such as ICICI Bank, HPCL, Air India, Megamart, Univercell, BookmyShow and MakeMyTrip. It offers in-store redemption opportunities at all participating partners and an online shopping platform representing key Indian e-commerce shops. Over the next twelve months, Payback is planning to double the number of partner companies that are involved.
“The coalition loyalty model is rapidly gaining ground in India. Payback allows shoppers to collect points very quickly with only one card and to redeem them for attractive rewards”, explains Vijay Bobba, Managing Director and CEO of Payback India. “Given Payback’s powerful new advantages in the offline and the online world, even more consumers will base purchase decisions on our new bonus program”.
India is home to one of the world’s most rapidly growing consumer markets. The share of organized retail has tripled within the last three years to ten per cent. This is creating an ideal environment for sophisticated customer loyalty solutions. “The compelling loyalty program we are establishing with Payback will further transform the way India shops”, underlines Alexander Rittweger. “We are excited and proud to be part of India’s retail revolution.”
Payback cards are available at participating partners and at www.payback.in.
