This new scanner is just 3.3 cm in height but has an impressive 1200x2400 dpi resolution and a 48bit color depth. With Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology, it is much superior to a traditional CCD-based scanner in terms of performance and resolution. OpticSlim 2400+ is extremely compact, light weight and power efficient to run on the notebook power through a USB port without warm-up.

ImageFolio 4.5, NewSoft Presto! PageManager 7.10, ABBYY FineReader 6.0 Sprint. Therefore, the users need not buy extra software for editing or managing their scanned images.
Apart from editing images using the aforesaid software, the user can also save the documents in various file formats including BMP, PCX, JPEG, TIFF, PNG and open files of BMP, PCX, DCX, JPEG, TIFF, PNG format. They also can export the saved documents into various file formats like MS Word, MS Excel, Word Pro, WordPerfect, etc. The TWAIN interface supports for automatic fine-tuning of the documents during scanning.
