Sri. P.R. Somasundaram assumed charge as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Lakshmi Vilas Bank on 2nd August, 2010. He is B.com, ACA, ICWAI and PG in Management Accountancy with all India Merit certificate.
Shri P.R. Somasundaram was with M/s Tata Consultancy Services and Unilever (India) before joining Standard Chartered Bank. He had served Standard Chartered Bank for more than 8 years in India and abroad.
Prior to joining Lakshmi Vilas Bank, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Standard Chartered - STCI Capital Markets Limited, a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank.
Shri. P.R. Somasundaram brings with him over 25 years of rich and varied national and international experience having served both the Industry and Banking Services.
