Pravin V Patil is President - Strategic Initiatives at Hero Cycles

With an outstanding track record spanning across the largest conglomerates in the country, Mr Patil brings leadership and management experience to drive global expansion for Hero Cycles

Hero Cycles, world’s largest bicycle manufacturer, today announced the appointment of Mr Pravin V Patil as the President, Strategic Initiatives, Domestic and Global Business. Mr. Patil will be responsible to roll out strategies involving Hero Cycles’ global expansion plans along with launch of new product ranges to accelerate company’s growth trajectory in the domestic market. This appointment is very significant considering the surge in the demand of premium segment bikes in the domestic market and Hero Cycles’ plan to enter into the luxurious segment in the near future.

 

With an experience of over 16 years, Mr Patil has worked with some of the most renowned organisations of the country -Tata, Aditya Birla Group, Reliance, Citihome Shelters, AT&T and also with the Government of India in his latest stint as OSD to Union Minister of State for Coal. A prolific leader, Mr. Patil has won many awards and accolades for superlative performance across the career span.

Speaking on the appointment Mr Pankaj Munjal, Co- Chairman and Managing Director, Hero Cycles Ltd , said, “It gives me immense pleasure to welcome Mr Pravin V Patil on board.
