PwC India appoints Dr Sotiris A Pagdadis as leader of Capital Projects & Infra Practice

PwC India announced today that Dr. Sotiris A. Pagdadis, Ph.D., a former leader of the Capital Projects and Infrastructure Practice (CP&I) in PwC US, has joined PwC India to build and lead the Practice. Based out of Mumbai, Dr. Pagdadis will focus on assisting organisations and Government to invest in infrastructure and improve their capital projects capabilities in order to capitalise on current strategic opportunities, maximise returns and sustain the next level of economic growth. With over 25 years of consultative experience in public and private sector infrastructure management, his specialised skills include: masterplan and capital project assessment, project financing, value and risk management, lifecycle planning, productivity planning, asset management and technology assessment.

 

Deepak Kapoor-Chairman, PwC India, said, “Capital Projects and Infrastructure is a strategic investment area for PwC. We are delighted to have Dr. Pagdadis bring his hands-on global experience to build this Practice.”

Previously, Dr Pagdadis served as the founder and president of the Lambousa Infrastructures Consultancy Group, where he pioneered a risk-based management review and project appraisal methodology. He also served as Managing Director of the Transportation Infrastructure Practice at McKenna Long and Aldridge, LLP, focusing on governmental affairs, procurement advocacy, public-private partnerships and privatisation.
