Rel Money in deal with Valcambi SA for gold coins

New Delhi, May 3, 2007: Reliance Money, a comprehensive financial services and solution provider promoted by the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group today announced its foray into gold coin retailing with its tie-up with Valcambi SA of Switzerland.

The announcement for the tie-up and the launch of the gold coin were done by Sudip Bandyopadhyay, CEO, Reliance Money and Michael Mesaric, MD, Valcambi SA at a press conference held in Jaipur today.

Reliance Money, which has recently launched distribution of a range of financial products and services in India on a first-of-its-kind fixed flat fee structure, will now also be selling 24 carat 999.9 pure gold coins in denominations of 5gm and 8gm at its select Reliance Money and Reliance World outlets.

With this, Reliance Money also becomes the first non-banking company in the Private Sector in the country to launch gold coin in addition to distribution of regular set of financial products and services in India.
